Atlantic - Music Label
Led Zeppelin was the first album released by the band of the same name after guitarist Jimmy Page changed the name of his previous band, The Yardbirds, in the summer of 1968. Advertised under the slogan "Led Zeppelin - The Only Way To Fly" it received poor reviews when initially released, but was extremely successful commercially, grossing $7,000,000 for the band by 1975.
